I love the way the author tells the story. Although short it’s impactful. It’s not your regular hood romance with rich thugs or kingpins. It’s more of a reality check and a nod to self respect. I loved it from start to finish

Hood Chronicles has written a very evocative story with unforgettable characters: Yasmine, Stacy and Cheryl. Cheryl struggles to raise her 2 headstrong daughters but the young ladies leave home, straight for tragic consequences. First Yasmine disses Cheryl and gets thrown out of her home, stumbling into some harrowing situations. She has to survive somehow, and manages to do so as a stripper. She is told that she doesn't have a big enough booty, and her beauty is not enough to draw more customers to the club. How far will Yasmine go ? A special treat is included at the end of this book, from Hood Chronicles which adds to the value of this story. I highly recommend it.
